Welcome to NetFest.org
The Net Fest is a monthly gathering of people who are passionate about computers and technology. It exists to stimulate the mind, stay on top of the ever changing world of IT and most of all to have fun. If you love computers, enjoy learning, sharing knowledge and don't limit yourself to one area of technical expertise, then the Net Fest is where you want to be.
The combined knowledge of the Net Fest encompasses a wide range of expertise. Many of the members are professionals, while others are simply interested in learning more about computers and technology. The Net Fest takes place on the second Saturday of every month in the surrounding suburbs of Chicago. It's hosted at the homes of the members or the occasional hotel conference room if the turn out is high.
There are only a few rules of the Net Fest. The most important one is we DO NOT play video games. The other rule is that you must make an effort to actively participate when called upon to share knowledge with the group and pass the word on to others. If you are interested in attending a Net Fest all you need is to be passionate about computers and technology.
